Paul
Paul Welhouse
was born and raised in Kaukauna,
Wisconsin. After graduating from Kaukauna
High School he attended Milwaukee School of
Engineering and received his Bachelor of
Science degree (B.S.) in Industrial
Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering
minor. He then spent 5 years working for
Outboard Marine Corporation located in
Waukegan, Illinois. He then moved on to
Harley-Davidson, Inc. where he worked for
almost seven years in a wide range of
capacities for the company throughout the
U.S. While with Harley-Davidson he earned is
Masters of Science degree (M.S.) in
Engineering Management from Marquette
University. He then decided it was time to
move back home and gain experience in the
sales side of business. Thus, he took a
position with Engman-Taylor, Inc. as
Sales/General Manager for their northern
division located in Appleton, Wisconsin. He
worked there for 3 years eventually making
it to Director of Quality Improvements for
the company. With a very well rounded back
ground of experience it was now time to
enter back into the family construction
business. After three years of hands on
experience he has taken control of the
company which was previously called Jerome
Welhouse & Son Const. Co. He is very proud
to be 4th Generation and
continuing the long standing tradition of
Superior Quality, Craftsmanship and
Service. In addition he is certified by the
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
is association with the AARP as a Certified
Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS).

David
David Welhouse
was born and raised in Kaukauna,
Wisconsin. After graduating from Kaukauna
High School he went directly into the family
construction business where he worked for
some 20 years before buying into the
business in 1980. In 1998 David assumed full
control of the company from Jerome. Being
the 3rd Generation he continued
the long standing tradition of Superior
Quality, Craftsmanship and Service as well
as advancing many areas of the company which
he continues to do so today. In addition, he
is a Certified Remodelor through the
National Association of the Remodeling
Industry (NARI) since 1994.
Jerome
Jerome Welhouse
was born and raised in Kaukauna,
Wisconsin. He left High School at 17 due to
the need to earn money for the family. He
went directly into the family construction
business in 1932 where he worked for many
years before taking the company over from
his brothers. He officially named the
company Jerome Welhouse Construction Co. in
1960. He continued in the business until
1983 when he semi-retired to do mainly
estimating and scheduling for David. He
continued in that capacity until 1998 when
he completely retired from the
company. Today, Jerome is well utilized as a
sounding board for the wide variety of
design/build projects that are presented to
us each year.
Company History
The company
originated in the early 1900’s by brothers
Joe and Tony Welhouse. In the early years
the main tools were hand tools and horses
which they utilized to build several barns
and homes throughout the Kaukauna area. Joe
worked the business until
his son Jerome started working in
1932. Soon after, Jerome’s brothers Harold,
James and Eugene followed into the family
business. They became well established in
the area for all types of construction from
new homes to complete remodeling.
After several
years Jerome purchased the business from his
brothers and in 1960 officially named the
company Jerome Welhouse Construction
Company, Inc. That same year David Welhouse,
Jerome’s son, entered into the business. The
company continued like this until 1980 when
David bought a portion of the company and
the name changed to Jerome Welhouse & Son
Const. Co., LLC.
In 1998 David
bought out the remainder of the company from
his father. By this time the company had
earned a significant and solid reputation of
superior quality, craftsmanship and service
in every aspect of construction. In 2000
Paul Welhouse, David’s son, entered into the
business after many years of experience with
fortune 100 hundred companies throughout the
U.S.
In 2003 Paul
bought into the business. In 2005 the
companies name changed from Jerome Welhouse
and Son Const. Co., LLC to Welhouse
Construction Services, LLC. The company is
now well positioned for the new century and
is ready to fulfill any need a potential
customer may have when it comes to
residential and/or commercial construction. |
